The Euromoney Qatar Conference returned under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, State of Qatar
Co-hosted with Qatar Central Bank, this year’s Euromoney Qatar Conference, held under the theme of Strategy and finance in the new global landscape, provided delegates with a strategic overview of the Qatari economy, as well as developments in ESG and the digitisation of its financial services.
Keynote speakers included H.E. Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani, Governor of Qatar Central Bank; hiveonline’s CEO Sofie Blakstad; Abdulla Mubarak Al-Khalifa, Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar National Bank; Joseph Abraham, Group CEO of Commercial Bank; and Jessica Renier, Managing Director of Digital Finance at the Institute of International Finance.
We were joined by other speakers from Qatar National Bank, Commercial Bank, Qatar Islamic Bank, Al Rayan Investment, BlackRock, Moody’s Investors Service, Qatar Stock Exchange, Qatar Financial Centre, Roland Berger and Georgetown University – Qatar.
